The snow had gone now, slipping away slowly and silently. And with it, winter had released its grip on Obliqus Forest. The days had lengthened, flowers bloomed and the sun warmed. Though it was early days in the spring and her breath still escaped like white fire from a dragon. The fire announcing to the world that Guinevere was indeed alive and breathing, thanks for asking. Hopefully she would continue to do so for a while longer but she knew that this was all down to luck. If she was lucky, she would live until she was old, her dapple grey coat flecked with white. If she was unlucky, she could be dead before dawn. You never knew, not really, there was no way of knowing when your time had come. For now the lusitano’s coat was still dark dappled grey with obvious lighter parts to her (especially around her face) though they were not from age. For coat was still filled with thick hairs, slightly more coarse in nature from the winter she’d just endured. Just as she’d endured all of her others. She had now survived six. Some harsher than others. Some froze her down to the bone, others were a brisk chill. All of them she had survived, a hardy mare who would not be chased off of this land by some snow. Nor would Guinevere be chased off by this rain, heavy as it hit against her back and leaving a slight sting. Spring showers had arrived to return to the earth some life. The forest was quickly regaining its splendour as the mare moved through it. Birds were beginning to return as well, twittering away as if there were no tomorrow, and she knew soon enough she would see some little foals running about and irritating her in other parts of these lands. She would just have to remain ever vigilant for the irritating little things. Avoid them at all costs. They were too uncontrolled for her liking. Hooves thundered against the softening soil, wind whipping against her dark eyes as they remained alert and searching for any signs of life. Only half her mind really covered the task however, the other just enjoying this for what it was. A brisk run through the woods, something she’d easily done before. Something she’d easily do again. She knew some parts of these woods perfectly, remembering when some of the trunks had fallen in violent winds during the winter. Trunks she easily cleared if they were to get in her way- the thinner ones at least. Others she volleyed more effort into, enjoying the feeling of being airborne and flying for those precious few moments. Moments she was free. From what, she did not know, but she felt it was probably the laws of the world. She also returned to the earth to continue on her path and knew she was once again trapped by some force to remain on the ground. Tiring, the mare finally came to a stop in a small clearing. She allowed strong, muscled sides to heave as she gasped for breath. That had been fun and she was in a jovial mood from it refreshed and alert. She supposed another reason was the spring though she liked her idea of it being a new start. Even if the sun was now dying, it would have a fresh start the next morning. It was at this moment that she became aware. Aware that she was not alone. In the dusk, black eyes searched for the stranger. She could not know him at least. Her joy died slightly as she had to become serious, never keen on trusting strangers. She knew nothing of them and could not trust them if she did not know how they would react. ooc;; So this isn't super duper amazing. Especially at the end. I just wanted to have something up. xD This is also totally open to whoever would like to reply to it. You can write way more/ way less than this as well if you'd like. I think I'm rambling now so I'm just going to shut up. ._.

I shivered as the rain beat down on my pelt. I hated the rain, the feeling just driving insane. Why couldn't I just hunker down and wait for the rain to stop? It might be nighttime by then, we all know how afraid of the dark you are. the thought wasn't mine, I looked around trying to find the speaker
(WIP sorry this is taking so long to put up)
