Birds sang their exotic songs as a white horse moved throughout the rainforest. The white shape was barely visible through the thick foliage and grass. The mare continued on her way, admiring what was hers. In her mind all she could think about was the beauty of the land and all that was within it. At times you could find unique flowers, almost as tall as herself, and at others time you could find jaguars and leopards, just waiting to attack. Yet the mare did not care. Her land was beautiful like herself and that was plenty enough for herself.
She swished her brown and white tail to get the mosquitoes off her coat as she kept going, keeping a steady walk. She was patrolling her lands because well, she had to. She was the Queen, King, Guardian, Wisdomer, Protector, and Member. She was her whole herd and more. No others were there to assist but at this moment she could deal with it. Loneliness was beginning to become a problem and just as she was about to give up on the patrolling of the land she felt it. She felt another equine nearby. More than another, maybe two or three. Arany's heart sped up slightly and she scented the air, making sure that it was not just her mind playing with her. "I smell others!" She quickly hoped they were friends and not foes and she walked lively towards the source of the smell.
She soon spotted another equine within the small clearing of the fores.t It was walking about the clearing with the small pool and brightly coloured flowers. She felt a smile spread on her face as she walked out of the trees, revealing her full figure. Her white and brown leopard spotted coat shone brightly in the sun as she walked over near the equine that walked within her land. She could have sworn she had smelt another but just seeing one here was plenty enough for her. "Greeting wanderer. My name is Arany and I am the Queen of this land. May I ask your calling?" She asked politely, her voice calm and kind. She thought she could hear another horse within the forest but she was unsure and was too focused on the equine before her.

"I should've stayed out..."
A cocoa mass hoofed its way through what was a fairly intricate forest, something that gave off an aura one such as this stallion could not resist. From sweet chirps sailing through the air to the bright greenery all around to the moisture and wetness of the ground and atmosphere. Cilantro loved rain, and inherently, wet places, such as this humid forest. "It isn't too bad I suppose..." He spoke to himself as he continued down the clearest path he had stumbled upon, eyes taking in all the various sights that surrounded him. An ear twitched slightly as the sound of water, faint, but loud enough to be caught. "Perfect!" He exclaimed with a sort of joy that not many would be able to understand.
His striped hooves beat the ground impatiently as he did not dare try running in this terrain, not too fond of falling over like a newborn; his innate desire to run, however, was making this a very difficult task. Eventually Cilantro reached a thick bunch of trees, which he very slowly (what an awful word!) weaved through to reach a large clearing. He then stood in place on his own, in awe of the beauty located within this area. His eyes flitted over to see the body of water which had guided him here and he ran the short distance there before bowing his head and taking a drink from its clean, cool waters. While drinking, he caught a scent which itself was quite noticeable compared to all the other scents. His mind began racing, simply by scent he knew it was another of his kind, and thus, quickly ended his drinking. "What if it should be the king...Or queen of this land?" His thought process was cut off as he heard hooves press to the gentle grass and he turned to see...A mare.
Deciding that this could be a ruler of these fairly empty lands, he turned his body and bowed to the approaching figure. After bowing, he took a moment to look over the rather beautiful mare before being spoken to. "Just as I thought..." He thanked himself quietly for the bow he took and the manners he employed ahead of time. "I am called Cilantro, it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance." He gave another bow, albeit shorter than the last before speaking once more, "It is not surprising a mare as beautiful as yourself is the ruler of lands whose beauty is almost comparable to your own." His words were all spoken with a sort of polite, subtle sweetness, as if what he said was not a compliment, but instead a simple fact.
