GENERAL.
[/blockquote]Alright, all of these rules are going to be pretty basic. Be respectful of everyone on the forum. My say is final. All members must listen to the staff, if you feel a staff member is being unfair, feel free to PM me about it. Everything should stay at a PG 13 level. Please keep the cussing to a minimum as it makes the site look trashy if all anyone does is cuss. Also, please keep chat speak to a minimum OOC.
CHARACTERS.
[/blockquote]Okay, we are a realistic horse role playing game. This means that no horse will have powers or unrealistic pelt colors. In the shop you may buy wings, horns, and even odd shapes to put on your horse. You may make any breed of horse, donkey, pony, and even zebras ( though some of these things will have to be bought ). Please be sure that your horse's appearance matches their breed. Draft horses should be bulky and large, Arabians would be more delicate looking and smaller. No horse is to exceed eighteen hands in height. You may only have ONE horse this large. Humans should not be included in your character's history, this also means no geldings. Horses of any age can be made, but horses below ten months old must have a mare to care for them. If you are making a horse below six months old, feel free to leave their personality out of their bio until they around one or two years old.
AGING.
[/blockquote]Every horse will age one year each spring. All horses must age and die appropriately. No horse should exceed a life span of 35 years. You have two options when aging your foals. They can either age one year every two seasons until they are three years old, or you may choose to age them as time passes.
IMAGES.
[/blockquote]ALL IMAGES ARE TO BE STOCK FROM DEVIANT ART OR FLICKR. I cannot stress this rule enough. Not only that, but in the bio you must have some sort of PROOF that they are stock images. If I see that you have used an image that isn't stock in your bio, I might choose to ignore it. If you need help finding images, please ask me! Signatures shouldn't exceed 500 px in width or 400 in height. I might choose to remove them without warning. Avatars should be 100 x 250. Even avatars must be stock. They do not have to have credits, but they do have to be stock.
BREEDING AND BIRTHING.
[/blockquote]You are absolutely never to graphic breed or birth. Your characters have to have been in at least one thread together before you can make them have a baby. The thread could simply be the breeding thread, but they have to have met prior. Only makes sense, yes? Staff will choose your foal's statistics, and you will not be allowed to change them. Staff will be random with every aspect of your foal. You can buy things from the shop to improve your foal's chances of living, choose their looks, whatever. Seasons affect a foal's chances at survival. Mares must stay pregnant for two weeks.
CLAIMING.
[/blockquote]Horses of any gender may claim land, but I would like to keep things sort of even. Like, stallions shouldn't rule over EVERY land, and neither should mares. Stallions can claim mares, stallions, and foals. However, in the case of a foal they must have a mare who can nurse it. Mares may claim stallions, mares, and foals. Foals may not claim anything.
CHALLENGING AND FIGHTING.
[/blockquote]Okay, here's the deal. Firstly, administrators cannot be challenged for their land. Secondly, I'm not even a big fan of challenging, but since we don't have a million lands, I know it is only fair. But here's the deal. One, you may not challenge for land if there is a land open. Two, don't expect to waltz in here and take land from a member who has been around for months. You must be an active member of this site to challenge for land. If I do not feel you are active enough, I will not allow the challenge to happen.
I will judge all challenging threads. I will judge heavily on grammar, spelling, and realism. Not only that, but how your post flows and all of that stuff. Power playing or god modeling will make your lose automatically. Quite honestly, I know that a lot of people make 1-2 thousand word challenging posts. Please for the love of everything that is holy do not do that here. I would rather your posts be 5-7 hundred words long. I don't want to spend all day reading your posts xD Sorry!
